The Contour Wedge is used primarily for Class II and Class IV composite restorations. It has proven beneficial for super tight contacts on Short Teeth, MOD Restorations, and Anterior Teeth. It also works well for restoring Overlapped Teeth.

The Contour Wedge

The Contour Wedge is shaped similar to a dental wedge, but never used to wedge anything. In fact it is a soft malleable high density plastic. The Contour Wedge is really a matrix that is easily sculpted to fit the procedure at hand. It makes everyday restorative dentistry easier and more predictable.

	A	The Contour Wedge can be customized with a # 15 blade.
	B	The Contour Wedge can be customized with a composite finishing bur.
	C	The Contour Wedge can be customized with a composite finishing bur.
	D	Most restorations will require the use of plumber's teflon tape. Composite will not stick to it. It is essentially zero thickness when stretched around teeth.
